Granto - IT Security Officer
Cheryl Granto brings to
FIU a wealth of expertise amassed in some 20 years in corporate
and
higher
education
IT experience.
In addition to extensive leadership and managerial experience,
she has significant experience working with diverse networking
environments and architectures, internet security and disaster
recovery planning. In her role, Cheryl will work with campus organizations
to address the IT security issues facing FIU. Cheryl understands
the need to balance the IT security mission with the needs of an
open academic environment. She is committed to FIU being globally
recognized for excellence in academic IT security infrastructure
and implementation. Cheryl is the Chair of the IT Security Council,
the Security Architecture Council, she is also a member of the
Educause Security Task Force Effective Practices Working Group. (more)

Day - IT Security Operations
Engineer
Donna Day is an Information Technology professional with over 16
years of experience in progressively responsible positions specializing
in enterprise network design, administration, information security
and assurance, and software development. She is a Certified Information
Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Microsoft Certified
